Pat Smillie, PGA qualified since 1988 became Wilton Club Professional in 1994. Besides being Wilton Club Professional Pat coaches the England Under 16,18,and 21 Ladies squads and is Director of Coaching for the English Ladies Association.
As a player Pat was a member of Pannal Golf Club and played for Yorkshire for 10 years winning the Yorkshire Championship and English Girls twice, and represented England at all levels.
As a professional Pat played on the Ladies European Tour for 4 years before embarking on a Club Professional career. Pat is one of only a few lady professionals in the country and is well respected throughout the immediate area, and nationally, for her teaching skills.
James has been a fully qualified PGA Professional now since 2008. He started playing golf in 1991 at Wilton where he remained a member until he turned professional in 2005. James spent 3 years training for his PGA qualification which resulted in his passing his final exams at the Belfry in April 2008.
James currently plays on the PGA North region circuit, as well as the NE & NW PGA circuit, where he competes in regular events and Pro-Am events. The NE & NW PGA covers North Yorkshire, Durham, Northumbria and Cumbria and this year's major events take in such venues as Cleveland, South Shields, Hexham, Close House, Matfen Hall, Keswick and Linden Hall. James' best year came in 2007 when he had numerous Top 10 finishes.
James is available for lessons on Saturday afteroons, Sunday mornings, Monday afternoons, Wednesday afternoons and Friday mornings. There are also late lessons available during summer hours.

The professional shop at wilton stock's a wide variety of golfing equipment and apparel. Although not a large shop, we do have access to number of top brands, and if we do not necessarily have it in the shop we can order it for you. We mainly tend to concentrate on bags, shoes and clothing, and we already have an excellent selection of such merchandise within the shop but we do a very steady trade in club's that we order specifically for the customer and we are very good at matching and beating the prices of our competitors.
